BVM USN celebrated 88 birth anniversary of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam with great aplomb, paying tribute to the Missile man, the most beloved former President, great scientist, philosopher and above all a great human being and a great teacher. Miss Sunaina (PRT) projected her thoughts on the life history of Doctor APJ Abdul Kalam saying that his life is an inspiration for the whole world. She added he was a man known for his contribution in developing ballistic missile and launch vehicle technology that has became an inspiration for the youth globally. Apprising the students with the accolades and awards acclaimed by him during his life time the simplicity and humility of the man was also highlighted. The indispensable role of Dr. Kalam in ISRO and launching of various satellites was highlighted by the promising Bvmites Harshikha Gulati (XI Science) &Suraj (IX) through their speech. Students from classes 3rd to 5th presented role play dedicated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. ‘Mission Mangal’ a short movie was also screened for the students of primary section. Junior scientists of BVM: Priyansh ,Gokul ,Suraj and Riddhima created beautiful replicas of Chandrayaan-2 and paid homage to this great scientist.Paying tribute to Dr. Kalam Principal Bandana Sethi exhorted Bhartiyans to follow the footprints of their role model and excel, setting new milestones. Trust members lauded the splendid efforts of the students and applauded the exhibits made by them.
